There's been another trip home for Nadine, this time for press and TV interviews in Kingston, plus sessions for Xterminator and Jeremy Harding - we can't wait to hear the results! To quote Steve James in his JA RUNNINGS column in Echoes May 6-17, 2000 (thanks Steve!): "Singer Nadine Sutherland is making a welcome return to JA success, now back with a new hit titled Skeezer. The song is on the Scotch Bonnet rhythm and was released on the Rich Kid label. After taking time out to be away from the limelight Nadine has returned to the music business and is ready to churn out the hits. Know for tunes like Action, Anything for You with Snow, Baby Face, Until, and Wicked and Wild, the singer felt that the limelight was too much to handle and decided to spend a few months in the US…" You can see Nadine this summer at: Atlanta's Club Hollywood, June 9th: New York's Downing Stadium for the Guinness Carifest (along with Luciano, Lexxus, and Donnell Jones), July 2nd; the Guinness Carifest in Washington, D.C., July 4th. And we look forward to hearing more of Nadine's delicious and unmistakable vocals on these forthcoming VP releases: "Last Night Memory" - produced by Dean Fraser, and a cut to Morgan Heritage's "Down By the River"; "Why" (produced by Richie D); and "Anything That You Can Do", in combination with Lexxus. |
